Who am I?
I am a 19 year old, Solo Developer from Germany, who has programmed a few websites, and had numerous projects.
Programming has been a hobby of mine since I was 13, and dealt with Impostor Syndrome, Isolation, Anxiety,
and Time-Management within these 6 years. It is getting better, and I want other developers to know,
that it will be getting better aswell.
In order to do that, I decided to programm a website where
developers can socialize and be a community of people sharing their projects, motivating each other
pointing out possible flaws, and finding new possible users.
What was the issue?
A lot of developers were not getting any feedback on their projects. That prevented communication, improvement
and engagement, resulting in isolation. There is no reason for people to give feedback, because everybody
wants to receive feedback.
Platforms such as Reddit, X, Discord, or Dev, bring people together in a sense that they all share their projects.
The issue with these platforms is, that the expectation of getting a review, overhauls the motivation of reviewing.
What is my future goal?
My goal is that every user on my platforms is just as motivated to review a project, as they are to share their project, because that is what growing together actually means.
